HER Africa supports women and communities in Nigeria through practical projects that create opportunity, dignity, and long-term change.

What we do

HER Africa works alongside communities in Nigeria to address the barriers that limit women and families from thriving.

Our projects focus on:

  • economic empowerment for women

  • access to health, water, and sanitation

  • education and practical skills training

We believe lasting change happens when women are supported with real tools, not short-term solutions.

Our Current Focus:  Orekelewa Bakery

The Orekelewa Bakery project was created to provide women in Epe with stable income, practical skills, and a pathway to financial independence.

The bakery is now operational and training is underway. To complete the project, we are working towards:

  • upgrading essential kitchen equipment

  • installing solar power to replace unreliable generators

This project is a cornerstone of HER Africa’s work and will support women and their families for years to come.
